Cliff House Summit Series Dinners
The Cliff House presents the “Summit Series” special event dinners for an unforgettable dining experience at the summit of Stowe’s gondola on Mt. Mansfield . The evening begins with an adventurous ascent to elevation 3625’ and the Cliff House. A locally produced cider and a six-course gourmet meal await your arrival. Wines, Vermont Ales and a full array of spirits are offered as well.
The focus of the summer 2008 Summit Series will highlight fresh Vermont handcrafted food products. Cliff House Chef Matthew Reeve, in conjunction with local artisans, will be showcasing the vast culinary landscape of New England. A different menu for each themed dinner will incorporate all of the market fresh seasonal ingredients available. Farm raised meats, cheeses, maple products and organic specialties will lay the foundation for each menu, bringing these flavors to new heights!
Reservations are required for the two different seating times available; 6:30 and 7:00 pm.

August 15 Taste of New England Dinner Traditional New England recipes are the inspiration for this six course dinner utilizing the freshest ingredients from both land and sea. September 19 Crossroads Winery Food and Wine Pairing Dinner A six course dinner featuring the wines of New Zealand from Crossroads Winery and Chef Matthew Reeve’s food pairings. This dinner has a 6:30 pm reservation only. October 10 New England Game Dinner A six course dinner featuring the best farm raised game specialties.
