41st Annual- Joe Kirkwood Memorial Tournament

The Joe Kirkwood Invitational is one of Vermont's finest amateur golf events for two-person teams. The event honors former Stowe Country Club Pro Joe Kirkwood, who was an Australian golfer that became world-famous for his trick-shot artistry. He once finished third in a British Open and challenged for the U.S. Open title five times between 1921 and 1934. Kirkwood spent the last years of his life in Stowe and was a big booster of the game of golf, especially with the youngsters. Fittingly the Joe Kirkwood Tournament benefits the Stowe Junior golf program.
This event is an invitational tournament with priority given to teams who have played in the past two years. For more information, please visit www.kirkwoodgolftournament.com/
