Ski & Ride Stowe for $20 on 4/20

And Help the Vermont Foodbank

STOWE, VERMONT – Prevent hunger in Vermont and enjoy a phenomenal day of spring skiing and riding in the process. Sound good? Then mark down April 20 on your calendar to get one last day on snow in Stowe. Lift tickets will be $20 with a non-perishable food donation to the VT Foodbank. That’s right, tickets for twenty on 4/20!

Due to an extraordinarily snowy winter resulting in over 371” inches of natural snow at Stowe Mountain Resort, the spring skiing and riding is better right now than it’s been in over a decade. There is still 94” of snowpack at the stake on Mt. Mansfield. Don’t spring into summer without enjoying a memorable day on great corn-snow helping others. This year’s annual season-end celebration and food drive is sponsored by The Point, Seven Days and Harpoon Brewery.

The Vermont Foodbank serves nearly 270 not-for-profit organizations with meal programs: community kitchens; shelters for the homeless; domestic abuse programs; food shelf programs; rehabilitative centers; and services for the elderly and children. The Vermont Foodbank receives financial and product support from organizations, corporations, foundations and individuals. For more information, call (802) 253-3426 or visit www.vtfoodbank.org
